About the position

The Team Lead - Class A position at Lithia & Driveway involves overseeing the Service Department to ensure efficient operations and high-quality customer service. The role focuses on managing technicians, resolving customer inquiries, and adhering to manufacturer policies while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Produce billable labor on the vehicles brought into the Service Department for service or repair.
  • Dispatch work to all group members in a fair equitable manner.
  • Ensure technicians are properly trained and have breadth of experience necessary to cover customer needs.
  • Resolve customer requests, questions, and concerns in a professional, friendly, and prompt manner.
  • Develop a production plan each month.
  • Ensure that all manufacturer policies and procedures are followed.

Requirements

  • Skilled at teaching others how and why to perform their job.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • ASE Certified in all eight specialty areas.
  • Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
