About the position

As a Team Lead at DriveTime Family of Brands, you will supervise and motivate a team of Technicians, Cosmetic Associates, and Detailers in the Reconditioning Center. Your role involves overseeing the reconditioning process of inventory vehicles, ensuring quality repairs, and meeting production goals while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate a team of Technicians, Cosmetic Associates, and Detailers.
• Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Reconditioning Center safely for repairs.
• Review and identify mechanical and/or cosmetic defects of incoming inventory.
• Mentor and train a team to complete tasks effectively, minimizing re-checks and delays in production.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Participate in both Inspection and Repair procedures to maximize efficiencies.
• Work to decrease the possibility of injury in the shop due to preventable hazardous conditions.
• Portray a positive image of DriveTime and contribute to a professional work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years managing a minimum of 15 employees or more (Supply chain management preferred).
• A minimum of 5 years' automotive experience.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
