About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including assisted living facilities and critical care environments. This position requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
  • Participate in critical care transport as needed, ensuring safe transfer of patients.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with coding standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing.

Requirements

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Experience in assisted living or critical care settings is preferred.
  • Knowledge of MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with infection control practices is essential.
  • Skills in ventilating patients and providing family planning education are advantageous.
  • Ability to perform dialysis procedures when required.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate care while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Willingness to participate in continuous education and training programs related to ophthalmology or other specialized areas as needed.

Nice-to-haves
