About the position

The Block by Block Safety Team Leader for Houston, Texas is responsible for supervising daily operations and managing the team of safety ambassadors in the field. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and effective communication to ensure compliance with company standards and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage shift duties of the safety ambassadors ensuring compliance with Block by Block standards and policies.
• Lead daily shift briefings, assign duties, and review events, weather, and safety updates with the team.
• Provide basic daily reports of accomplishments and tasks completed.
• Direct and counsel team members, reporting any concerns to the Operations Manager.
• Maintain a positive and professional environment in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work alongside the crew.
• Valid Texas Driver's License is required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
