About The Position

The Team Lead at Rack Room Shoes is responsible for supervising and managing daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing leadership and training to store staff. This role involves taking full responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, while striving to meet sales and service objectives.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Assist in supervising and managing day-to-day store operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all established company policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and training to store staff.
  • Assume full responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
  • Create and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience.
  • Manage customer issues with urgency and satisfaction.
  • Conduct all POS terminal transactions according to policy and procedure.
  • Oversee inventory control responsibilities including shipping, receiving, and price management.
  • Conduct physical inventory and manage sales floor merchandising and visual presentation.
  • Adhere to payroll control responsibilities including scheduling and budget compliance.
  • Train and develop direct reports, reinforcing customer service standards.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies to protect company assets.
