About the position

The Team Leader is responsible for guiding a team within a specific department to achieve operational objectives efficiently. This role involves supporting the Supervisor in monitoring team performance, managing work quality, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. The Team Leader plays a crucial role in training associates and promoting a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Meets or exceeds set standards for productivity and quality in the assigned function.
• Assists the supervisor in supervising team members and completes specific duties in the Supervisor's absence.
• Assists supervisor with conducting associate training and defining job requirements.
• Assists the Supervisor in coordinating workflow with other members of the leadership team.
• Clarifies operating policies, procedures, and safety requirements to team members.
• Promotes high employee morale through fair and consistent application of policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in Distribution, Manufacturing, Warehouse, or similar industry.
• Working knowledge of industry-specific applications (e.g., EX, ADS).
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic math and reading skills.
