About the position

The Procurement Team Leader at Molson Coors Beverage Company is responsible for overseeing procurement activities at the brewery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves managing a team of storeroom attendants, ensuring procurement processes are efficient, and maintaining relationships with vendors. The position requires a strong focus on achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory management and cost savings, while also acting as a subject matter expert in procurement systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of seven storeroom attendants, supporting their growth and development through career discussions and one-on-one conversations.
  • Ensure KPIs are met for storeroom parts stocking, physical inventories, on-time vendor invoice payments, and achieving savings targets.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure alignment on expectations, timely delivery of services and goods, and adherence to agreed-upon costs and quality.
  • Collaborate with Shared Services resources to provide requirements and review work performed.
  • Actively participate in the World Class Supply Chain Preventative Maintenance Pillar focused on process improvement and loss reduction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Supply Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience with a purchasing background and supervision of employees.
  • In-depth knowledge of equipment parts and their application in the brewery.
  • Proven track record of using problem-solving tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to improve and document standard operating procedures for brewery procurement activities.
  • Experience with Excel and proficiency in Microsoft products and SAP.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on producing quality results and translating financial principles into business solutions.
