About the position

The Master's Level Team Leader will oversee the daily operations within the region, focusing on training team members, setting strategic goals, and monitoring progress. This role emphasizes recovery-focused, person-centered care with a trauma-informed approach, ensuring that the team adheres to documentation standards and provides quality service to residents.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations within the region.
  • Train team members and provide supervision for direct reports.
  • Set strategy and monitor progress towards goals.
  • Ensure the provision of recovery-focused, person-centered care.
  • Confirm timely and quality documentation of treatment information for residents.
  • Ensure adherence to DMHAS/Medicaid standards.
  • Provide adequate staff coverage and scheduling.
  • Participate in rotating weekends on call by phone.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or social work.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and accurate billable progress notes.
  • Proficient in Excel, MS Office products, and general computer literacy.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage crises.
  • Exceptional time management skills to support multiple residents' needs.
  • Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work with individuals with mental illness in a caring and professional manner.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Lived experience dealing with mental health/substance use challenges.
