The Team Lead, Scheduler at Ensono plays a crucial role in providing technical support for maintaining both new and existing batch schedules using various batch scheduling tools. This position involves leading a team of schedulers in their daily tasks, ensuring that the batch schedules are effectively managed within a mainframe and/or client server environment. The Team Lead will assist with ongoing technical schedule support for both application teams and the batch operation team, ensuring that all scheduling tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. In this role, the Team Lead will handle moderate to high complexity batch scheduling assignments, regularly leading tasks to establish themselves as a subject matter expert (SME) in the product. They will oversee the day-to-day activities of the scheduling team, ensuring that all tasks align with the overall objectives of the organization. The Team Lead will work closely with application teams to build automation for more complex scheduling needs and collaborate with operations teams to reduce manual work through automation. Additionally, the Team Lead will provide input and assistance during environment upgrades and changes, ensuring that the batch scheduling software is utilized to its fullest potential. They will follow and understand the company's change control process, meet ticket service level agreement (SLA) requirements, and complete both internal and external reporting. Mentoring less experienced associates will also be a key responsibility, helping to develop their skills and knowledge in batch scheduling.
