About The Position

The Team Leader is responsible for guiding and assisting team members in meeting production requirements while ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations. This role involves maintaining a clean work environment, participating in process improvement initiatives, and supporting the Area Manager in training team members on work instructions and paperwork accuracy.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and/or GED preferred.
• Previous Team Leader experience preferred.
• 1 year of experience in Progressive Press.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Plex Mfg Software
• Forklift/HiLo operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist all Team Members to successfully complete requirements for all production classifications.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area with good housekeeping techniques.
• Cease production if parts do not meet quality standards, with approval from the Area Manager/Team Leader and Q.C. Manager.
• Participate in process improvement teams as required.
• Assist the Area Manager in ensuring team members understand all work-specific instructions and instruction sheets.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and report any safety concerns to the Area Manager/Team Leader.
• Ensure team members utilize the correct paperwork and complete it accurately, including tags, uptime reports, set-up, checklists, Production Logs/Flip Charts, and production reports.
• Check to ensure last piece samples are complete by team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
