About the position

The Customer Service & Support Manager at Pedestal PRO is responsible for hiring, training, and supervising a team of 5-8 customer support agents. This role involves managing individual performance while also handling a personal book of accounts to set a positive example. The manager will focus on improving customer outreach and satisfaction, ensuring the team meets revenue goals, and contributing to the overall growth of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, and supervise a team of customer support agents.
  • Manage individual performance and provide training to underperformers.
  • Handle a personal book of accounts to set an example for the team.
  • Respond to customer requests via phone, chat, and email with sales information and quotes.
  • Educate customers on the product portfolio and upsell when possible.
  • Process customer quotes, work orders, shipping documents, invoices, and returns.
  • Organize and balance personal customer accounts with department needs.
  • Provide recommendations to company leadership regarding team performance and morale.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Sales Management or Customer Service Management experience.
  • 3 years of management experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365 tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SharePoint.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
