About the position

The Team Manager for Existing Customer Operations at ADT is responsible for overseeing the installation and service activities within a designated territory. This role involves planning, implementing, and managing the service workforce to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery to existing customers. The Team Manager acts as a key liaison between the district service workforce and corporate service, focusing on training, communication, and strategic planning to meet profitability and customer retention goals.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and manages the activities of the service workforce.
• Formulates a business plan for cost-efficient service and targeted sales growth.
• Works with the General Manager to meet profitability goals.
• Conducts monthly/quarterly meetings to communicate policies and procedures.
• Assists the sales force by developing low installation costs and suggesting applications of systems.
• Serves as the primary contact for the district installation and service workforce.
• Ensures consistency of field installation and service activities.
• Establishes and maintains high-quality and timely installation/service to customers.
• Develops and maintains an effective installation/service workforce through recruiting, hiring, training, and coaching.
• Tracks and records installation/service activity and individual installers' results.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent related experience.
• 3 to 5 years of related industry experience in a high volume, high impact operation.
• Experience calculating economic impact or offerings on a customer's business.
• Ability to handle multiple challenges and prioritize responsibilities.
• Proven management skills with the ability to train, develop, and motivate a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Windows.
