About the position

At Clorox, we are committed to growth for our people and our brands. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting short-term supply planning and supply matching analysis, identifying strategies to fill gaps in our supply chain. You will drive the weekly Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) process across a 1-3 month time horizon, implementing near-term planning against the Business Unit (BU) constrained forecast and integrated business plan. Your role will involve tracking execution, identifying demand and supply gaps to the S&OP plan, and driving balanced demand/supply resolution in coordination with impacted functions. You will access and balance trade-offs and strategies to meet near-term BU goals, escalating issues in the BU Operations Meeting and to the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Lead and General Manager as warranted. Proactively identifying and escalating risks related to forecast consumption, service levels, and inventory gaps will be crucial to delivering against the consensus demand plan. You will also monitor inventory health and recast replenishment plans to prevent future service issues, trigger and co-lead allocation strategy and demand shaping actions, and coordinate with the BU to ensure the delivery of the short-term plan while escalating issues as necessary. As the primary downstream point of contact on the S&OE plan for logistics and customer operations, you will coordinate with both the Business Planning Manager and Network Planning Manager to flag trending issues that need to be incorporated into longer-term supply plans. Additionally, you will actively champion and contribute to a community of like practitioners, leading inventory planners and mentoring, developing, and training team members.
