As a Team Member at Tractor Supply Company, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the overall sales initiatives of the store. This position requires a flexible and adaptable individual who is committed to maintaining a positive shopping experience for customers. You will be expected to work scheduled shifts, which may include varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as dictated by business needs. Regular and predictable attendance is essential to ensure the smooth operation of the store. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting customers, uncovering their needs, recommending products, and asking for the sale. You will spend approximately 95 percent of your day performing a combination of essential duties that are vital to the store's operations. These duties include operating the cash register and following cash handling procedures, recovering merchandise, participating in the mandatory freight process, completing plan-o-gram procedures for merchandising, assembling merchandise, performing janitorial duties, executing price changes and markdowns, and assisting customers with loading their purchases. Additionally, you may be required to operate equipment such as forklifts and cardboard balers, and complete all necessary documentation associated with your job duties. Team Members may also be assigned other tasks as needed to support the store's operations.
