Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and team members to provide legendary customer service.
• Support selling initiatives by greeting customers, uncovering their needs, recommending products, and asking for the sale.
• Operate cash register/computer following established cash handling procedures.
• Participate in the mandatory freight process and recovery of merchandise.
• Complete Plan-o-gram procedures including merchandising, sets, and resets.
• Assemble merchandise and perform janitorial duties as needed.
• Execute price changes and markdowns accurately.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and ensure the safety and well-being of birds in the store.

Requirements

• High School Diploma is preferred.
• No prior experience is required.
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.
