About the position
The Cashier position at Ribs USA involves providing exceptional customer service during the order-taking process, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a friendly and efficient work environment. The role requires strong cash handling skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members in both front and back of house operations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver fast, friendly, and excellent customer service during the order-taking process, whether by phone or in person.
- Verify age requirements prior to serving alcoholic beverages.
- Ensure the accuracy and presentation of all guest orders before delivery to guarantee guest satisfaction.
- Communicate efficiently with team members to ensure timely order delivery.
- Promote the culture, values, and mission of Ribs USA with integrity and knowledge.
- Assist guests with menu offerings, sauce descriptions, specials, and promotions.
- Restock products as needed.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
Requirements
- Strong cash handling skills.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Cashier and restaurant experience is a plus.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
