The Team Member position at Jack in the Box is focused on delivering an exceptional guest experience by providing excellent service, quality food, and maintaining a clean restaurant environment. This role involves performing various workstations in accordance with company procedures and guest expectations, ensuring that guests feel welcomed and valued while adhering to food safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service by acknowledging and welcoming guests promptly.
• Take and clarify orders, assist guests with menu selections, and enter orders into the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including dining and restroom facilities.
• Prepare food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure order accuracy and timely service.
• Follow food safety policies and procedures, including proper hand washing and glove use.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant's interior and exterior areas.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Experience in guest service or food preparation is helpful.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English; knowledge of another language may be required based on location.
• Basic math skills to handle cash transactions and make change.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for 90%-95% of the shift and lift 15-25 lbs.
