Responsibilities

• Greeting each guest with a smile and in a friendly manner.
• Learning about guests to promote returns.
• Providing unmatched hospitality and customer service.
• Preparing and serving beverages based on guest requests.
• Answering guests' questions about bakery and beverage choices.
• Promoting and recommending menu options to guests.
• Taking payment from customers.
• Maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning and troubleshooting.
• Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized.
• Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service.
• Listening well and communicating professionally and friendly.
• Focusing on customer satisfaction.
• Practicing basic safety procedures with respect to equipment and handling hot beverages.
• Building good relationships with customers.
• Keeping supplies replenished to minimize downtime.
• Following instructions well.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have a reliable source of transportation.
• Must be at least 15 years of age upon hire date.
• Ability to clean various areas of the restaurant, including tables, counters, floors, and trash bins.
• Ability to answer basic guest questions with knowledge of the menu.
• Ability to work in a team setting with good communication.
• Must be a team-oriented, hard-working self-starter.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Must maintain positive energy and a welcoming demeanor throughout the shift.
• Must be available weekends.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of guest services experience (Preferred)
