About the position

As a team member at Kids Empire, you will serve as the initial point of contact for guests, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have during their visit. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing excellent customer service to families enjoying the amusement park. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall guest experience, including greeting customers, managing the check-in process, and handling cash transactions. In addition to customer service duties, you will also be tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the park's facilities. This includes cleaning restrooms, sanitizing furnishings, and ensuring that all areas are free of hazards. You will regularly walk the floor to monitor guest compliance with park rules and regulations, ensuring a safe environment for all visitors. You will also play a role in scheduling and coordinating family events, assisting in their smooth operation. The position requires you to work in a dynamic and often noisy environment, where you will need to maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with both children and adults. Your ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks will be essential in this fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Attend to customers quickly, greeting them and making them feel comfortable in the amusement park ambiance.
  • Operate the check-in process by having guests sign the liability waiver.
  • Handle cashier responsibilities, including receiving payments and tracking cash and credit transactions.
  • Organize the refrigerator, freezer, and shelves with drinks, ice cream, snacks, and chips.
  • Regularly walk the floor to monitor for unsafe hazards and ensure guests follow park rules and regulations.
  • Clean restrooms and sanitize furnishings such as tables, chairs, and playground structures.
  • Schedule and coordinate family events, assisting in their efficient operation.
  • Work in a noisy environment created by guests, including children yelling and music.
  • Tolerate a fast-paced work environment during peak hours.
  • Maneuver in small play areas as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age as per company policy.
  • Ability to maintain an upbeat positive attitude with children.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Customer service skills and conflict resolution skills.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Read and write in English.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays is mandatory.
