About the position

The Team Member at Dave's Hot Chicken is responsible for providing excellent guest service, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness within the restaurant. This role requires teamwork and adherence to safety and security procedures while ensuring a fast-paced and positive dining experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a fast speed of service and resolve guest questions and concerns.
• Follow the DHC Training Program to learn new skills and responsibilities.
• Communicate with supervisors for additional training guidance as needed.
• Understand the impact of job responsibilities on guests and restaurant operations.
• Greet guests, record orders, and serve food and beverages with a positive attitude.
• Work with co-workers to prepare menu items while following safety and sanitary requirements.
• Use kitchen machinery and equipment such as fryers and warmers.
• Ensure daily restaurant cleanliness by clearing tables, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing utensils.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally to resolve issues.
• Maintain a neat appearance by adhering to the uniform policy.
• Work productively in a fast-paced environment and support restaurant management directives.

Requirements

• Current student or high school diploma/GED preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Effective communication skills with co-workers and management.
