Team Member

About the position

The Team Member at Dave's Hot Chicken is responsible for providing excellent guest service, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness within the restaurant. This role requires effective communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety and operational procedures to ensure a positive dining experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a fast speed of service and resolve guest questions and concerns.
• Follow the DHC Training Program to learn new skills and responsibilities.
• Greet guests, record orders, and serve food and beverages with a positive attitude.
• Work with co-workers to prepare menu items while following safety and sanitary requirements.
• Ensure restaurant cleanliness by clearing tables, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing utensils and high-touch areas.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally to resolve issues according to restaurant policy.
• Maintain a neat appearance by adhering to the uniform policy.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to resolve interpersonal issues.

Requirements

• Current student or high school diploma/GED preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Effective communication skills with co-workers and management.
