About the position

Join On it RN, a nurse-owned business dedicated to providing a refreshing change in healthcare. This role focuses on improving compliance, tackling burnout, and elevating patient care standards while offering a flexible schedule. As an RN, you will support caregivers and senior living communities through education and exceptional nurse delegation services, fostering a community centered on competence, confidence, and compassion.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nurse delegation services to Assisted Living facilities, Adult Family Homes, and In-Home Care Companies.
  • Work one-on-one with caregivers to provide oversight and training on a scheduled and as-needed basis.
  • Review provider orders to identify additional delegated tasks and communicate needs with appropriate facility staff.
  • Verify physician orders against facility MAR and identify discrepancies.
  • Document nursing assessments on approved nurse delegation forms.
  • Create Instruction for Nursing Task Sheets for delegated tasks.
  • Participate in RND training meetings with DSHS.
  • Collaborate with the RND Nursing Lead to problem-solve and address questions.
  • Attend bi-monthly RND team meetings to discuss workflows and barriers.
  • Engage in team huddles to enhance communication and collaboration within the team.
  • Guide Senior Living Communities through State Surveys, ensuring compliance and excellence during evaluations.
  • Complete RapidAssess resident assessments within a 2-business day turnaround for 95% of assessments.
  • Maintain high community satisfaction rates for Nurse Delegation services.
  • Timely complete nurse visits and 90-day assessments for senior living communities.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of WA.
  • Minimum 1 year nursing experience.
  • Experience with critical thinking, nursing assessments, and medication management/reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceuticals.
  • Willingness to drive up to one and a half hours one way at times.

Nice-to-haves

  • BSN preferred.
  • Experience with geriatric population.
