About the position

The Team Specialist is a non-exempt role responsible for various warehouse operations in a clean, climate-controlled facility. The position involves understanding and following standard operating procedures, picking orders, conducting inventory cycle counts, and operating forklifts. The role requires basic computer skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment to meet production and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Locate raw materials in the ERP system and physical location, accurately pick and verify product for internal customers.
• Identify and count raw materials, processing cycle counts into the ERP system.
• Operate a forklift and one-person power lift safely, loading/unloading trucks and placing materials in warehouse bays.
• Perform basic computer transactions including XA, Xalt, printing labels, and using a scale.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Proficient in basic shipping skills.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions.
• Knowledge of the English language including meaning, spelling, and grammar.
• Ability to communicate ideas effectively in verbal and written format.
• Demonstrated secondary level computer skills including XA and Xalt preferred.
• Demonstrated secondary level math and computation skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and provide direction to others.
• Ability to determine and set priorities for the team to meet production and customer needs.
• Regular attendance is required to complete all work.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ERP systems such as XA and Xalt.
• Basic computer skills for transactions and label printing.
