About the position

The Teamcenter PLM Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end solutions for the Teamcenter application, ensuring effective customization and optimization of the platform. This role involves collaborating with application teams on upgrades, migrations, and project support while maintaining high design and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Propose and design end-to-end solutions for Teamcenter applications based on requirements.
  • Write design documents for Teamcenter-based implementations.
  • Support application teams in Teamcenter upgrades and migrations from RAC to Active Workspace.
  • Participate as a team member in IT software projects using the Teamcenter platform.
  • Share expertise on customizing Teamcenter efficiently with the project team.
  • Identify and propose optimizations for existing Teamcenter customizations.
  • Learn and teach design and quality standards for Teamcenter customization.

Requirements

  • Technical knowledge in Teamcenter UA Products such as Engineering Data Management, BOM Management, and Change Management.
  • Skills in mapping business requirements to PLM/Teamcenter framework.
  • Experience in Teamcenter solution designing for both client and server, including integration with third-party applications like SAP4Hana and NX.
  • Experience in installing and configuring 2-Tier & 4-Tier clients, file management server, dispatcher server, and CAD integration.
  • Basic problem-solving skills to resolve application issues and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Experience in Teamcenter client-server customization and SOA customization.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming language and TC server-side customization (ITK & SOA).
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as XSLT, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, and web service architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and build to run processes.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to manage customer needs and multiple work priorities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Familiarity with additional PLM tools and technologies.
