Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography examinations and produce quality images.
• Observe departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare written documentation as required by the profession and department.
• Utilize hospital and radiology systems according to established policies.
• Handle bio-hazardous waste and follow infection control policies.
• Practice safety and infection control measures in accordance with hospital standards.
• Provide excellent service to customers by delivering timely and respectful care.
• Incorporate quality assessment into daily work and recommend improvements.
• Provide age-appropriate care to patients of all ages.
• Deliver specialized care to patients at high risk for injury.

Requirements

• Completion of ARRT and CT program required.
• CT certification within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to assess situations and choose appropriate actions.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT anatomical landmarks.
• Experience in performing venipuncture and documenting procedures.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Emergency, ICU, Interventional Radiology, and Inpatient departments.
• Familiarity with quality assurance programs and outside monitoring.
