About the position
The Tech Delivery & Sales Representative role at Asurion involves providing in-person technical support and device setup for customers in their homes. This part-time position offers a base pay of $20.05 per hour, along with mileage reimbursement and a phone stipend. The role emphasizes building customer relationships, upselling products, and achieving sales goals while ensuring a high level of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Drive to and from customers' homes using a personal vehicle.
- Provide in-person device setup and technical support for smartphones, tablets, and other consumer electronics.
- Upsell Asurion products and services to customers.
- Achieve sales and service goals through feedback and coaching.
- Demonstrate integrity in serving, solving, and selling to meet customer needs.
Requirements
- Strong willingness to learn tech and sales or prior sales and/or tech experience in any industry.
- A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience.
- Personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles) for transportation to/from customer visits.
- Use of a personal cellphone (no older than 3 models to the most recent model).
- Comfort working around pets that may be present in customer homes.
- Ability to work during evening hours.
