About the position

As a Tech DevOps Engineer at UBS, you will play a crucial role in influencing the evolution of Cyber Security within the organization. Your primary focus will be on automating and integrating cutting-edge security solutions to enhance UBS' security capabilities. You will be part of the Network and Application Protection team, which operates within the Cyber and Information Security (CIS) division. This team collaborates with a wide range of stakeholders, including architects, cyber security operations, and network and application teams, to deliver and continuously improve security solutions that protect UBS assets. In this role, you will be expected to develop complex CI/CD pipelines, with a preference for experience using GitLab. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining Terraform modules, as well as deploying and configuring cloud resources, preferably in Azure. Your expertise in at least one scripting language, such as Bash or Python, will be essential for automating processes and improving efficiency. Additionally, you will need to understand good testing practices and be able to develop and maintain automated tests using a testing framework like Pytest. Your excellent Unix/Linux administration skills will be vital, as you will need to identify automation and improvement opportunities within the existing systems. While experience with security solutions is beneficial, strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as you will be working as part of a global team. Responsibilities

• Develop complex CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules for cloud resource deployment and configuration.
• Deploy and configure cloud resources, ideally in Azure.
• Automate processes using scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using testing frameworks like Pytest.
• Administer Unix/Linux systems and identify automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve security solutions.

Requirements

• Expert in developing complex CI/CD pipelines, with experience in GitLab preferred.
• Experience in developing and maintaining Terraform modules.
• Experience with deploying and configuring cloud resources, preferably in Azure.
• Expert in at least one scripting language (Bash/Python preferred).
• Understanding of good testing practices and ability to develop/maintain automated tests using a testing framework (such as Pytest).
• Excellent Unix/Linux administration skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
