About the position

The Tech II - IGX Fronts position at Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division involves assembling, wiring, fitting, and modifying work related to medium and high voltage assemblies. The role requires adherence to manufacturing information and established procedures while ensuring quality and efficiency in production. The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with specific hours outlined for each day.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, fit, and modify medium and high voltage assemblies, breaker compartments, and related sub-assemblies.
• Work from manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, and instructions from supervisors or engineering.
• Fill out ISO checklists, quality checklists, and production lists as required.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform necessary wire operations.
• Maintain Kanban inventory levels and report shortages to operators.
• Inspect assemblies for loose or missing hardware and cleanliness.
• Respond to change notices and customer requests for adjustments.
• Assist engineering and drafting with customer-initiated development work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• At least 3 months of manufacturing experience in an industrial environment (preferred).
• At least 3 months of experience using hand and air tools (preferred).
• South Carolina Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent (preferred).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
