The Generative AI team under Monetization Technology is focused on developing cutting-edge Generative AI technologies across various modalities, including text, image, and video. This team is dedicated to creating industry-leading technical solutions that enhance creative efficiency for advertisers, agencies, and creators. By leveraging Generative AI technologies, the team aims to automate creative workflows and increase overall revenue for stakeholders in the advertising ecosystem. As a Tech Lead Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving and leading generative AI initiatives within the ads tech and creative industry. You will be responsible for developing and implementing AI-driven applications that facilitate text-to-image and text-to-video transformations, thereby supporting diverse content generation needs. Your expertise will be crucial in designing and enhancing robust multi-GPU systems for the efficient training and deployment of large-scale generative models. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to improve the platforms that support our AI models, focusing on performance optimization and latency reduction in model training and deployment. Staying updated with the latest industry and academic developments in generative AI will be a key part of your role, as you will integrate state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies into our operations. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI-driven applications for text-to-image and text-to-video transformations to support diverse content generation needs.
• Design and enhance robust multi-GPU systems for the efficient training and deployment of large-scale generative models.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve the platforms that support our AI models, focusing on performance optimization and reduction of latency in model training and deployment.
• Stay updated with the latest industry and academic developments in generative AI to integrate state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies into our operations.

Requirements

• M.S./Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Deep expertise in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, with a strong grasp of large-scale model training technologies like FSDP/DeepSpeed and Asyncio.
• Proficient experience in Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes environments.
• Proven experience in generative models, especially in text-to-image (e.g., Diffusion-Based Models, Diffusion Transformers) and text-to-video (e.g., EMU series, MagViT) technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced knowledge of CUDA optimization and multi-GPU system architectures.
• Significant experience in cloud computing and distributed systems, particularly in environments like GCP/Azure.
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a strong commitment to continuous learning in AI/ML fields.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills.
