As a Tech Lead Manager for the Data Platform, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of both offline and real-time data warehouses. This role requires an in-depth understanding of business and product requirements, allowing you to abstract these needs effectively and collaborate closely with the business team to maximize the value of data. In this position, you will be tasked with planning and building an industry-leading data warehouse team, ensuring that the data's value is fully realized. You will also manage communication regarding demand and oversee data development project management. Your leadership will be essential in driving the team towards innovative solutions that align with TikTok's mission of creativity and joy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehouse implementation methodologies and a deep understanding of data warehouse systems, having supported actual business scenarios. You should be sensitive to business needs, able to quickly grasp the business context, and possess excellent skills in integrating technology with business objectives. With over 5 years of experience in data warehouse or big data development, you will bring rich expertise in constructing real-time or offline data systems. Hands-on experience with scalable data solutions using big data processing and distributed storage engines such as Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Elastic Search, Druid, and ClickHouse is essential. Experience leading a big data team and constructing data systems for complex business scenarios is preferred, along with a proven track record of engineering leadership in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
