As a Tech Lead in Quality Assurance Engineering, you will be responsible for constructing the Global e-commerce quality assurance system and building the US QA team, which includes Test Engineers (TE) and Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET). This role requires hands-on involvement, where you will need to have a clear understanding of the business logic and system architecture. You will actively participate in the test execution of various projects, ensuring a deep grasp of the overall project process specifications, testing techniques, and related platforms and tools. Additionally, you will guide new team members to help them get started quickly. Your responsibilities will include managing the quality throughout the entire project life cycle, which encompasses formulating quality assurance plans and strategies, identifying and avoiding risks, standardizing project processes, controlling entry and exit quality standards, and managing defects. You will also be tasked with keenly identifying top quality risks and efficiency bottlenecks, researching effective solutions, and promoting their implementation. Establishing efficient and trusting cooperation with stakeholders will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Construct the Global e-commerce quality assurance system and build the US QA team, including Test Engineers and SDETs.
  • Participate in the test execution of projects and guide new team members in understanding project processes and testing techniques.
  • Manage quality throughout the project life cycle, including formulating quality assurance plans and strategies, risk identification, and defect management.
  • Identify top quality risks and efficiency bottlenecks, research effective solutions, and promote their implementation.
  • Establish efficient and trusting cooperation with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields from accredited institutions.
  • At least 5 years of experience in testing and development in Internet companies, with 2 years in leading QA projects as Tech Lead.
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Go, with strong technical judgment.
  • Experience in quality assurance methodology and a deep understanding of CI/CD, quality standards, and various testing types.
  • Excellent project quality management experience and strong technical judgment.
  • Strong self-driving force and quick learning ability.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in multinational, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to handle concurrent tasks efficiently.
