This role as a Tech Lead-Senior Machine Learning Engineer involves participating in the development of a large-scale Ads system and taking ownership of key targeting components or strategies within the TikTok ads monetization ecosystem. The position requires collaboration with product and business teams to align on product vision and ensure the successful implementation of state-of-the-art applied machine learning projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong theoretical grounding in machine learning concepts and techniques, along with excellent programming, debugging, and optimization skills in languages such as Go, C/C++, and Python. Experience with machine learning frameworks like Tensorflow, PyTorch, or MXNet is also essential. This role is pivotal in driving innovation and growth within TikTok's advertising solutions, contributing to the overall mission of the company.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of a large-scale Ads system.
• Responsible for the development of state-of-the-art applied machine learning projects.
• Own key targeting components or strategies in the TikTok ads monetization ecosystem.
• Work with product and business teams on product vision.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant majors.
• 6+ years of experience in machine learning concepts and techniques.
• Excellent programming, debugging, and optimization skills in one or more general purpose programming languages, including Go, C/C++, Python.
• Experience in one or more of the following frameworks: Tensorflow, PyTorch, MXNet.
• Ability to think critically and formulate solutions to problems clearly and concisely.
