About the position

The Tech Lead for TikTok's E-commerce Knowledge Graph will be responsible for developing advanced algorithms and strategies that enhance user experience and merchant service quality on TikTok's e-commerce platform. This role involves leading a team to construct and manage knowledge graphs that support product recommendations, feed ranking, and advertising, while collaborating with various teams to define product strategies and features.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to construct the Knowledge graph, including product/content/feedback understanding and category/brand/SPU construction.
• Build, expand and manage buyers' and products' global e-commerce knowledge graphs.
• Collaborate with strategy team, product managers, policy team and ops team to define products and drive initiatives from engineering viewpoints.
• Participate in the development of massive knowledge graphs of real-world products to support feed ranking, recommendations, and ads.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and the product strategy & operation team to define product strategies and features.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 5+ years of working experience in machine learning, NLP, multimodal, or computer vision
• Experience with software development in C++, Python, Go, or Java
• Good sense of teamwork and communication skills, with practical experience in relevant business scenarios.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficient in using TensorFlow or PyTorch and understanding distributed training and distillation acceleration.
• Experience in text classification, text matching, sequence labeling, and knowledge graph.
• Strong sense of responsibility and good at communication and teamwork.
• Passionate about solving complex and challenging problems.
