About the position

The TechOps Analyst position at Vaco is a hybrid role that combines L3 Support Engineering and IT Infrastructure Engineering within End User Support/Desktop Administration. This role is critical for providing advanced technical support to end users and managing various IT infrastructure components. The position requires an onsite presence in Connecticut and involves working the second shift, typically from 4-5 PM to 12-1 AM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft Windows servers ranging from versions 2008 to 2019. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities for patch management, backup and restore operations, and administering VMware environments, with experience in VxRail and Nutanix being a plus. The TechOps Analyst will utilize Microsoft PowerShell for automation tasks and administer Group Policy Objects (GPO). The position also requires maintaining and troubleshooting server and SAN hardware, with a preference for candidates who have experience with Dell hardware. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of IT services and support for end users, making it a vital part of the company's IT infrastructure team. Responsibilities
