About the position

The Tech PR Specialist at MacPaw will play a pivotal role in enhancing the company's global presence through strategic public relations efforts. This position focuses on promoting MacPaw's software products, particularly CleanMyMac and CleanMy®Phone, by planning and executing creative PR campaigns, managing media relations, and analyzing campaign metrics to inform future strategies. The role is integral to strengthening the brand's perception as a leader in Mac control and care, while also supporting product releases and expanding international PR efforts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute creative PR campaigns that align with product branding.
• Strengthen both MacPaw brand and product brand perception as a leader in Mac control and care by coordinating internal and external communications.
• Fully support product releases by planning and pitching PR materials to relevant media outlets.
• Conduct detailed analyses of PR campaign metrics and create reports to guide future strategies.
• Proactively pitch media to link product brands with broader news narratives and boost visibility.
• Monitor and analyze media trends, identify potential reputational risks, and protect brand perception.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in product PR, marketing, or related communications roles.
• Exceptional writing skills and the ability to craft clear and compelling messages.
• Proven experience managing media relations, event participation, and sponsorships.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on monitoring and optimizing PR metrics.
• Familiarity with media platforms and databases (e.g., Muck Rack, Cision, Meltwater).
• Excellent collaboration abilities, working seamlessly with cross-functional teams on communication campaigns.
