About the position

The Aerospace and Defense Custom Solutions Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of each project, which includes conducting requirement and design reviews, managing schedules, determining resource requirements, overseeing risk management, and ensuring product development, integration, testing, delivery, and post-delivery support. This role is critical in ensuring that projects meet their objectives and are delivered on time and within budget. As a project manager, you will also play a key role in assisting our business development team by generating accurate and compelling proposals to support the acquisition of new business opportunities. Your ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and customers will be essential in this role, as will your organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of aerospace and defense projects from inception to completion.
• Conduct requirement and design reviews to ensure project alignment with customer needs.
• Develop and manage project schedules and resource requirements.
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate project risks.
• Oversee product development, integration, and testing processes.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects and provide post-delivery support.
• Assist the business development team in creating proposals for new business opportunities.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in an Engineering field is required.
• Strong communication skills to interface effectively with team members and customers.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, VISIO, Access, Outlook, and Project) is a must.
• 5+ years of experience in a customer and factory-facing role (Applications engineering, Product Management, Product Development) is required.
• 3+ years of experience as a Project or Program Manager is required.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of RF and test systems is a plus.
• Experience in developing custom test solutions is preferred.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a US Government Security Clearance for specific government contract requirements.

• Experience in Electronic Testing (4 years preferred).
• Experience with RF systems (4 years preferred).
• Ability to commute to Loveland, CO 80537 (preferred).
