About the position

The IT Project Manager will oversee the Services Tech Mandatory program within the Architecture Service Delivery department. This role involves collaboration with architects, business execution leads, and program managers to manage technical risks and ensure the successful delivery of IT projects. The position requires strong communication and leadership skills to influence and guide colleagues across various departments, while also being responsible for planning, budgeting, and policy formulation related to tech mandatory investments.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the scope, critical success criteria, KPIs, and budget of all tech mandatory programs and moderately complex IT projects.
• Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct colleagues outside of the Architecture Department's direct reporting structure and resolve issues to meet project goals.
• Communicates with architects, SUB-LOB department leads, and senior management to provide timely and accurate information and status updates.
• Facilitates regular steering committees.
• Has shared responsibility for budget, policy formulation, and planning.
• Contributes to the formulation of strategies for IT project leadership and other functional areas.
• Applies in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues.
• Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how areas of IT project leadership integrate to achieve business goals.
• Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations.
• Directly impacts the IT project leadership area through responsibility for delivery of end results and shared responsibility for budget management.
• Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards.
• Persuades and influences others through communication and diplomacy skills.
• Assesses risk when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Requirements

• 6-10 years experience in a related technology role with commensurate program management experience.
• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially a Master's degree.
