About the position

SherlockTalent is on the lookout for a dynamic and driven Tech Recruiter to join our team in North Bay Village, FL. With over two decades of experience in the staffing industry, we pride ourselves on being leaders in the IT sector, known for our integrity and collaborative environment. As a Tech Recruiter, your primary responsibility will be to identify and attract top tech talent in South Florida, ensuring that we meet the staffing needs of our diverse clientele beyond their expectations. This role requires a proactive approach to building long-term relationships with candidates across the IT, Marketing, and Creative industries. In this position, you will engage in various sourcing strategies, including leveraging our existing contacts, participating in company-sponsored events, utilizing advertising resources, and networking through social media. Your goal will be to attract at least 10 candidates per week, conduct interviews with a minimum of 6 candidates weekly, and submit 9 candidates to account managers. You will need to thoroughly understand the technical job requirements and complete screening evaluations while formatting resumes to meet client expectations. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining constant follow-up with candidates and logging all activities in our database. Your role will also involve meeting with clients and candidates to develop strong business and candidate relationships. A passion for IT and a strong desire to help people succeed are essential traits for this position. You will be expected to participate in technical organizations and attend networking events regularly, contributing to your professional growth and the success of our team.

Responsibilities

  • Foster long-term relationships with candidates in the IT, Marketing, and Creative industries.
  • Pursue candidates through leads generated from existing contacts, events, advertising, and social media.
  • Attract at least 10 candidates per week from various sources.
  • Interview a minimum of 6 candidates weekly.
  • Submit 9 candidates weekly to account managers.
  • Review and understand all technical job requirements comprehensively.
  • Complete screening evaluations and format resumes to meet client expectations.
  • Research and familiarize yourself with new technologies in the IT, Marketing, and Creative industries.
  • Follow up with candidates consistently.
  • Source, screen, recruit, send-out, and close candidates daily, logging all activities in the database.
  • Meet with clients and candidates to develop business and candidate relationships.
  • Participate in technical organizations and attend networking events frequently.
