The Global Communications and Marketing Team (GCM) at OTSI is seeking a Tech Writer 2 / Marketing Content Specialist to join their dynamic team in Meridian, ID. This role is crucial for creating engaging and effective content across various platforms, including blogs, emails, video scripts, landing pages, and social media. The ideal candidate will have a creative mindset and a strong understanding of the semiconductor industry, particularly in relation to data centers. The position requires the ability to grasp moderately technical memory and storage products and to communicate these concepts effectively to non-technical audiences. In this role, you will spend your days interviewing subject matter experts to gather insights and data, which will inform your content creation. You will be responsible for balancing multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities, and adapting to new tasks as they arise. Creativity, organization, and clear communication are essential skills for success in this position. You will collaborate with peers and leaders across the globe, making teamwork and communication key components of your daily activities. Your responsibilities will include developing content for product launches, marketing needs, and various digital activities. You will analyze technical product specifications to create compelling user-benefit content and work closely with web and design teams to support content development and SEO strategies. Additionally, you will drive ideation sessions with stakeholders to uncover new insights and develop creative story ideas based on research into technology, business trends, and gaming.

Responsibilities

• Develop content for product launch and positioning, including FAQs, web landing pages, and social media.
• Create marketing content, including long-form articles, SEO articles, video scripts, infographics, and newsletters.
• Analyze and interpret technical product specifications to generate engaging user-benefit content.
• Collaborate with web and design teams to support content development and SEO strategies.
• Drive ideation sessions with stakeholders to uncover insights for compelling storytelling.
• Research technology, hardware, business trends, and gaming to develop creative story ideas.
• Interview subject matter experts to gather data and insights for content development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience producing quality marketing content.
• BA/BS in English, journalism, marketing, or PR preferred.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong understanding of social media and digital marketing.
• Ability to break down complex technology information into clear communication.
• Outstanding storytelling ability that engages and influences behavior.
• Excellent research, interview, and learning skills.
• Attention to detail, organized, self-motivated, and able to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability and passion to learn about memory and storage products for data centers.
