About the position

The Clientele Technician is responsible for providing care and support to clients in a healthcare facility. This role involves executing client assessments, preparing and serving meals, and ensuring the safety and well-being of clients. The technician works under the supervision of the executive director and is tasked with following established procedures and regulations to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties in caring for clients/service recipients at the facility.
  • Execute client assessment and service plans under supervision.
  • Prepare, cook, season, and serve nutritious meals according to menus.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of client areas and personal belongings.
  • Assist clients in activities of daily living, including toileting, grooming, and feeding.
  • Measure and record clients' heights and weights, and take vital signs as directed.
  • Observe and document clients' food and fluid intake.
  • Participate in in-service programs and staff meetings.
  • Maintain proper infection control procedures and hand washing techniques.
  • Detect and report unsafe conditions to the house manager/executive director.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Experience in healthcare facilities is preferred.
  • Knowledge of procedures and techniques for administering treatment and providing client care services.
  • Understanding of personal service techniques and equipment care.
  • Ability to cook a variety of foods and understand special dietary needs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with mental health clients.
  • Knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques.
