About the position

The Technical Account Manager for the AD&T Simulation Domain at Siemens Industry Software Inc. is responsible for engaging with customers to understand their business and technical requirements, and to architect appropriate simulation solutions within the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio. This role involves developing sales strategies, leading technical sales efforts, and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the Aerospace and Defense industries.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and build a trusted advisor relationship with clients and sales executives in the Simulation domain.
  • Oversee and guide clients in selecting appropriate Simulation solutions and technology.
  • Gather and advise customers on high-level business and technical requirements.
  • Provide guidance on the technical capabilities and business value of Siemens Simulation solutions.
  • Lead the development and delivery of presentations, demonstrations, and proposals in the Simulation domain.
  • Interact regularly with executives to become a trusted advisor in the Simulation domain.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of Siemens' digital enterprise product design and simulation portfolio.
  • Manage customer technical queries and coordinate responses.
  • Support account managers in executing sales opportunities in the Simulation domain.
  • Lead the construction of collateral for client requests and proposals.
  • Document and share best practices and customer success stories.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical sales or account management within the simulation domain.
  • Strong understanding of the Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to gather and analyze customer requirements effectively.
  • Experience in developing sales strategies and technical solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Siemens Xcelerator portfolio.
  • Knowledge of advanced engineering objectives and industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with competitive differentiation in the simulation segment.
