About the position

The Technical Account Manager for Batteries (TAM) at Siemens is responsible for developing technological offerings for battery manufacturers and their international machine builders in the USA. This role involves managing customer technical queries, coordinating resources, and guiding customers in selecting appropriate solutions from Siemens' portfolio. The TAM will also support sales opportunities, lead presentations and demonstrations, and share best practices to set future technological trends in the battery sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive technological offering for battery manufacturers and machine builders in collaboration with the Global Vertical Battery Community.
• Manage customer technical queries and coordinate resources to respond effectively.
• Guide customers in selecting appropriate Siemens solutions and communicate the business value of these solutions.
• Support sales and Vertical Manager Battery US in defining and executing sales opportunities and strategic projects.
• Lead the development and delivery of presentations, demonstrations, and technical proposals in collaboration with the presales support team.
• Organize and communicate best practices and customer success stories to influence future technological trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or related fields.
• 8+ years of overall professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in factory automation with a strong understanding of market, competitor, and customer demands.
• Industrial experience in engineering, PLC programming, and automation projects.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience leading and managing teams of technical and business consultants.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
