About the position

The Technical Account Manager for Batteries (TAM) at Siemens is responsible for developing technological offerings for battery manufacturers and their international machine builders in the USA. This role involves managing customer technical queries, coordinating resources, and supporting sales opportunities in collaboration with the Global Vertical Battery Community. The TAM will lead presentations, demonstrations, and technical proposals while ensuring knowledge transfer across defined USA countries. This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the eastern or central time zones.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive technological offering for battery manufacturers and international machine builders in the USA.
• Manage customer technical queries and coordinate resources to respond effectively.
• Oversee and guide customers in selecting appropriate Siemens solutions and technology suites.
• Coordinate with sales and Vertical Manager Battery US on strategic projects and sales opportunities.
• Lead the development and delivery of presentations, demonstrations, and technical proposals.
• Document and monitor project milestones and results.
• Organize and communicate best practices and customer success stories in the Vertical Battery USA.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or related fields.
• 8+ years of overall professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in factory automation with technical understanding and sales knowledge.
• Industrial experience in engineering, PLC Programming, and Automation projects.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience leading and managing teams of technical and business consultants.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
