About the position

The Technical Account Manager for Personal Care at IMCD US is responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with core accounts while technically engaging with customers to drive sales growth. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and sales acumen, with a focus on achieving results for strategic principals in the beauty and personal care sector.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and grows relationships with existing core accounts.
  • Develops targets for all IMCD strategic principals.
  • Technically engages with all customers.
  • Spends 70% of time in front of technical people.
  • Makes 15 sales calls per week with one office day per week.
  • Participates fully in technical training sessions.
  • Identifies decision makers to close the sales process.
  • Maintains and expands the database for the territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Three to seven years of sales experience in Personal Care.
  • Personal Care industry formulation or technical experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree, technical degree in chemistry or biochemistry.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
