About the position

The Junior Technical Account Manager - Client Delivery role is designed for an individual who has a technical background and is now focused on program management and client engagement. This position is responsible for overseeing the delivery of data projects, including data engineering, data warehousing, and Business Intelligence reporting. The ideal candidate will be proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing client relationships effectively while ensuring project success.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the delivery of data projects including data engineering, data warehousing, and Business Intelligence reporting.
  • Manage client-facing engagement projects and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Oversee contract financials and budgets related to projects.
  • Utilize Agile methodology in project management and execution.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to build transparent relationships and identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling.
  • Determine team capacity and utilization for project execution.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager in the data space.
  • Solid experience managing Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence Reporting projects.
  • Experience with Scrum, Project Management, Program Management, and Project Execution.
  • Proficient in Project Planning and Agile Methodology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal oversight.
  • Experience managing challenging project scenarios and client communications.
  • Understanding of the Life Insurance industry is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience owning a particular program or engagement and being accountable for delivery.
  • Ability to understand critical players within the client space and respond accordingly.
