About the position

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for managing the post-sales process with US Federal customers, ensuring complete customer satisfaction. This role involves articulating the company's technology and product positioning to both technical and leadership personnel, while establishing and maintaining relationships with key contacts in assigned accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide product and technical support for assigned accounts
  • Identify and develop potential new business opportunities
  • Convey customer requirements to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering teams
  • Provide functional and technical support to customers
  • Respond to customer questions on technical best practices and business related issues
  • Deliver high-level and detailed technical sales presentations
  • Attend conferences, seminars, etc.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge in the technical security space including security assessment, configuration auditing, network security, DAST, endpoint security, and IaaS security
  • Knowledge of Federal Compliance issues such as FedRAMP, STIGs, and FIPs
  • Strong presentation skills and professional communication in emails, RFIs, and RFPs
  • Ability to interact at all levels within customer organizations, from C-level to front-line technical staff
  • Organized and analytical with creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to travel throughout sales territory

Nice-to-haves

  • Technical security experience in the Federal space including system integrators
