About the position

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) - Healthcare at Vasion is responsible for driving customer success within healthcare accounts by managing the technology implementation of the company's software solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and customer relationship management, ensuring that clients receive maximum value from their investments. The TAM acts as a primary technical resource, facilitating communication between various teams and the customer, while also addressing any technical barriers that may arise during the customer lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, concise, and friendly communications to align with customer goals and requests.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services, Systems Integration, Sales, Engineering, Support, Product Management, and Customer Success to coordinate project execution.
  • Ensure an excellent customer experience by quickly overcoming technical barriers encountered during support.
  • Help customers attain value from the products or services they've purchased, ideally exceeding their expectations.
  • Monitor common technical support questions and create scripts for handling those requests at scale.
  • Provide technical product expertise and recommendations to customers and partners, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Manage multiple projects effectively and interface with professional-level management.
  • Make recommendations and provide guidance to produce high-quality documentation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting Healthcare customers
  • 5+ years of related Microsoft IT desktop support experience
  • 5+ years of Network/LAN/System administration experience
  • 5+ years of providing Technical Customer Service
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure, including Azure and/or AWS
  • Database knowledge and experience in MySQL and Microsoft SQL
  • Working knowledge of VDI technologies (Citrix, VMware, ESXi, Hyper-V, IGEL, Google Cloud Platform)
  • Ability to think strategically about people, process, and technology challenges
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and achieve individual, team, and organizational goals

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Salesforce
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, HTML basics, and basic scripting
  • Knowledge of applications deployment using GPO, SCCM, or similar tools
  • Experience with public speaking and delivering presentations
