About the position

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) at The Trade Desk plays a crucial role in overseeing integrations with clients and partners, ensuring that technical aspects of these integrations are managed effectively. This position serves as a liaison between partners and engineering teams, providing necessary documentation and technical guidance while identifying new opportunities for product enhancement. The TAM is expected to leverage multiple technologies and tools to manage complex integration projects, acting as a solution-oriented advisor to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee integrations with clients, inventory/publisher partners, and data partners.
  • Guarantee the technical aspects of assigned partner integrations by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance.
  • Serve as a liaison between partners and engineering teams.
  • Manage long-term integration projects, setting timelines and keeping stakeholders updated.
  • Document client projects and maintain status updates for the team.
  • Identify new opportunities for product enhancements that can benefit partners' businesses.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of work experience in a technical client-facing role.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Excel, Office, and Outlook.
  • Experience with SQL, web technologies/web programming languages, and APIs is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrable creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience working with clients, product, and engineering teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with digital advertising technology is a major plus.
  • Experience with a formal project management method.
