Responsibilities

  • Establish, maintain, and refine a growing portfolio of customer accounts as the company expands.
  • Create and oversee an annual sales budget, aligning it with targeted goals and objectives.
  • Apply and manage pricing strategies across assigned accounts to maximize profitability.
  • Participate in critical business decision-making meetings, both internally and with clients.
  • Lead technical discussions, support customers with troubleshooting, and coordinate project execution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Prior experience selling functional ingredients in a B2B environment is preferred.
  • A proven ability to build relationships and drive sales success is highly desirable.
  • Technical expertise or a science-related degree is a strong asset.
  • Experience in managing a sales pipeline, setting milestones, and tracking key performance metrics.
  • A 'builder' mentality is essential, with the ability to cultivate new accounts while expanding existing relationships.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus, but not mandatory.
