The Red Hat Public Sector Technical Account Management team is seeking an enterprise-level engineer with expertise in OpenShift Container and Ansible Automation Platform technologies to join us remotely in the Huntsville, AL area as a Technical Account Manager. In this pivotal role, you will partner closely with a public sector customer to provide architectural guidance and implementation advice for the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and Ansible Automation Platform suite of solutions. Your primary focus will be on facilitating communication, coordination, and collaboration across different teams to ensure the successful implementation and optimization of Red Hat's multi-product solutions. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, communication skills, and strategic thinking to bridge gaps, align objectives, and drive positive outcomes for all stakeholders involved. As the primary customer advocate within Red Hat, you will deliver Red Hat portfolio roadmap updates and assist customers with product upgrade implementations. You will rapidly learn and stay current with new technologies, including container orchestration, registries, build strategies, microservices, and automation environments. Supporting customers in implementing automated and containerized OpenShift cloud application platform solutions will be a key responsibility, along with specializing in the Ansible Automation Platform to provide expertise on its implementation and use. You will perform technical reviews to proactively identify and prevent issues, sharing knowledge across teams, and gain a comprehensive understanding of the customer's technical infrastructures, environments, hardware, and product usage. In addition, you will investigate and respond to support requests via various channels, including online, phone, video call, and chat. Providing strategic advice and guidance on current and future Red Hat product solutions will be essential, as will managing customer cases and maintaining clear and concise documentation. You will collaborate with engineering, R&D, product management, and technical support teams, create and maintain technical documentation for issue resolution and knowledge sharing, and manage and grow customer relationships through attentive, relationship-based support. Regular visits to customers in Huntsville 2-3 times weekly will ensure an exceptional service experience.
